Wishing some love to everyone through these photos I've taken in the office, hope your Christmas may be equally colorful as these snapshots.

AMUSEMENT PARK

Photos by me

Through my photos captured by my phone, Instagram aside,  I intend to display a colorful insight while exploring around Enchanted Kingdom. Like Disneyland, Enchanted Kingdom gives me an out of body experience, and an overpriced dart throw game that ended up no reward of an oversize stuff toy. This amusement park operates late in the morning up to nine in the evening. If you don't mind kids running around the vicinity then going on a weekend would not be a problem.

Ferris wheel and carousel in particular gave me the most calming sensibilities while feeling the breezy air on my face. In juxtapose to the calming ride, the Space Shuttle (roller coaster) was predictably amusing, of course. My body was in pendulum motion when I agreed to ride the Anchors Away. The ride designed like a pirate ship swings back and forth in motion like a pendulum clock. Witnessed kids screaming their lungs out, almost throwing up, as the ride swings up to 70 degrees in angle, fun right?.

Surrounded by showstopper of lights and heavy noises of swarming traffic, I was in a rooftop once again trying to be the eye behind the lens. Snapped a few photographic breezy evening of Manila encompassing street culture and soaring skyscrapers. A few more hours of standing and waiting for that glowing moon to show up was worth my aching legs.

TRAIPSE

Photo Processing: Carissa Inez

Switched from the plain cardigan to an intricate one when I was strolling around Baguio. In an instant, these photos reminded me of the cold atmosphere that Baguio possess. It was a ponder of what to wear in a bleak weather without being to literal. Surely, I would pack an added jacket when out traipsing on the streets, sipping my strawberry taho and be amused of the vintage finds located in session road (the night market is a different story).

Enough of the time travel, back to real time setting and face the fact that I've been sickly this week. After weekends of not having enough rest being out and about can be quite an exhaustion. Last weekend I was happily in an amusement park with my friends. No ride was spaced out until the day turned into night time signaling my body to a halt.

WINE-STAINED

Perhaps, I am a few weeks late of absorbing that I've grown another year older. Surely by now beginning the month of December, it finally struck through. Traveled to Bangkok a few days before my birthday, spending almost a week in a diverse culture of city was truly an awesome experience. I have yet a load of content to write about, but hopefully my Instagram feed could make-up for it now. Festive of activities had been happening, birthday celebrations of my favorite grandma and lolo slash instant family reunion, seeing my cousins in which they're much taller in height.

So back to the self-induced photos and please excuse my sleepy eyes. Recently, I took time on updating my lip color collection. It had always been shades of pink and red consuming my everyday look. After some contemplating, wine-stained lip color won the battle in my head. Though it may be daunting for me considering it exudes a darker aura, nevertheless it's worth it. A few youtube tutorials seen (a Michelle Phan tutorial) and articles read on magazine were of help in choosing the right shade of wine-stained color for my skin complexion. I may not be as courageous to go on a vampy shade of color, and took the lighter berry wine-stained shade with a little bit of plum involved. Above are the results of my experiment, with a directed concept of my good friend Rudstin, involving white sheet and soft hued light.

TAMAWAN

Birthday duties are done, now time for some backlog of photographic diary in location on the northwestern part of the city. I went to Tamawan Village weeks ago completely with no detailed knowledge of what's in store for. Let's just say, I played it by surprise. Arriving in the village, made a quick exercise of an uphill climb, (in which i made a human error of wearing wedges),  to see Igorot huts in different levels. Turn right, you see the pool of artist sketching portraits of tourists for a minimum amount of a hundred. Exploring the whole place at the same time taking Instagram snapshots is a habit I have become addicted to. After recovering from quite a bit of leg exercise, I sat down and watched the natives dance to the beat of the gong.

Hunger came and I delighted myself with salad and pesto rightly available within the village. Different choices but surely these green colored dishes won at that moments craving.

It was quite slippery to climb and walk around the bridges thus I resorted to going around the art exhibits and handicraft store. I recommend going here on a sunny day rather than a gloomy one in which you would appreciate climbing up the hut and reach the highest point to indulge yourself with the panoramic view of the Province.

After Tamawan Village, a quick visit to Baguio Cathedral to witness the beauty of the structure. Alongside, I was lucky to spot strawberry taho sold nearby.

Stop the strawberry taho craving.
