DESIGN BOARD: KRISTINA

1, 2, 3, 4, 5

Yes, I'm not doing a blog post about frock or travel diary but about a recent collaboration with Beneath the Coat blogger, Kristina Poljak. Kristina and I had been exchanging our thoughts about fashion and lifestyle when it came to a point that it redirected to my design process in making my blog site. I am more than happy to re-design her blog. Of course!
Bring it to me, all the brain mechanism on putting up together coherent photos that would surface Kristina's personality. I'm a lover of minimalist design, yet for that striking mark I add some vibrant color in it. Constantly navigating to her blog, colors that pop up in my head were red and grey and true to that her color preference was the same. In this case the mood of the palette is basically reddish, white and grey tones.  If it came across your mind, you want to re-design your blog, I think I can be of help to that. x

Ta-ta! Fingers cross, now I have to continue working on her site.

GRAPHICS FROM THE DEEP BLUE SEA OF BOHOL

Submerged under aquatic circumstances, revolving around the deep blue sea , I channel the mermaid in me.

Effusive photographs captured under the visibility of crystalline waters and fluorescent corals in one of the islands in Panglao. Panglao Island has been one of the hotspot for tourists in Bohol. If you find yourself wandering around Bohol, don't forget to drop by the island of Panglao. You might even catch some dolphins fluttering in the surface of the water.

I loaded my luggage with different sets of swimwear from Athleta and Old Navy with the knowledge that I can't use it all, since our day was packed with activities. Caught in a nomadic situation, hopping into various islands near Panglao. My favorite activity nonetheless was swimming with the fishes underneath and stepping on spiky corals (wasn't it too obvious with these set of photos?). Armed with my swimming equipment, I inadvertently threw myself to the water locating Nemo. But alas I found him (second to the last photo), staring at me trying to beg for some biscuits. Who couldn't resist that sweet puckering face underneath?

And then there's 7 thousand islands, which I couldn't fathom how numerous the number our country has, but truly I'm grateful for it. Walking on the powder island barefoot, I highly doubt to advice it coz' of the humid weather. Sunbathe under the glowing sun, thus should your skin be equipped with appropriate sunblock. Lotions marked in high amount of SPF brings sparkle in my eyes coz' it mentally reminds me that it is okay to be under the UV rays of the sun. Finally satisfied with how the arrangement of the photo goes, but wait have I told you about the blog exchange? Hope my graphic diary in deep blue sea entertained you. x

JUMEIRAH VITTAVELI

Still having the Monday Blues from the recent 5 day holiday of holy days. A quick blog post to fuel my week with dedication to work on a pile of pending.  To direct the topic in connection to the amazing photo above, it was delivered to my Facebook timeline by my good friend Jan Tricia who is currently residing in Jumeirah Vittaveli, Maldives.   It warms my heart to find my name written on the sand.

Maldives has been on my list as one of the places I wish to see. The idea of permanently lying in powdery white sand and splashing in crystal blue waters clad in colorful swimwear has been primarily evident in my daydream. My burning desire to travel in thousands miles and experience fast moving moments has been constant. But there is uncertainty in me when it comes to the question “When shall I set foot on this beautiful island?” I am in search for answers as well, only cosmic perspective should know perhaps. If it comes across your mind to have some beach escape go here, without a doubt. Soon Maldives.
