RIVER

Intending to share these for a while but lately I feel like I've been caught up in web-like situation literally and figuratively. Spent days contemplating on designing my website, burning the midnight oil with css, html, and java (those three words appear even in my dreams) and there are those days where situations start as dreamy and end up nightmare-ish, wishing that I am skydiving instead of being stuck up in that whole fiasco. Enough blabber about uncertainties in life.

A few months ago I was in Bacolod visiting my relatives for birthday celebrations and gathering. Going around the city, playing tourist, was fun. This particular resort we went to is known for its hot spring, people swarming all over the place justified it indeed. Mambukal resort is not as ordinary as you may think because even I was surprised that it caters to different areas of leisure such as hot spring (which has sulfur in it as they say), pools, bat watching, waterfalls, butterfly garden, kayaking... oh believe me the list goes on. I become eventually acquainted with nature walking, chasing bats, hopping over stones in the river and a comforting foot massage at the spa to complement my almost tired feet.

The sun was just not too friendly for me during those moments, blamed it on noon time. Striking hot resulted to face undergoing a low blow meltdown. On the bright side the soft shade of oversized pink chiffon thrifted blouse effortlessly paired with Ksubi denim shorts gave me the good feeling of walking around. The blouse gave me that winged feeling making it necessary to twirl in circumference. The hand me down loafer shoes kept my feet ache free despite the maul of endless walk.

The place captivated me in all sorts of definition connected with nature, a simple reason for me to go back.

SANTORINI PARK PHOTO DIARY II

It took a while for me to put these second batch of intensely hued photos together but ta daaaa here goes...

I've always daydream about Greece, the idea of a park similarly constructed to Santorini in Greece made my feet set to the place. After the immense amount of time allocated to meet and greet with the elephants, I couldn't allow to leave Thailand without getting a glimpse of the park, located in Cha-am, Phetchaburi so it was my idea actually to rush ourselves here. Spent the day walking around the village area where brands, palatable food, bring home items exist. Traveling gives me the controlled freedom to land on a foreign place having the experience of different existential of minds. The place spins me around, all things built here is a definite version of awesome if you are a photo bomb enthusiast. The first part of my Santorini photo diary wasn't enough to justify my appreciation for the park so I guess these second post of illustrations suffice it. On the other hand  since it was a weekday we weren't able to experience performances and the haven of handicrafts which happens during the weekend art market. If you got questions in mind ask me here or any experience of the weekend art market here please do share it with me, been dying to know.

Reminding myself to pack sunscreen when I have a chance to visit the place again, the sunny weather on my skin just gave human body secretions of water in my pores.

ROOFTOP

Situated on a rooftop, overlooking skyscrapers, indeed I am back to habitually existing in my habitat again. These days the weather temperature in Manila seems to be much colder than I thought, a perfect reason for me to wear this Cheap Monday jeans. Jeans I literally contemplated if I should buy it or not but ended up buying it anyway.  A rule which I have injected on myself if I keep on anxiously thinking of a certain item might as well get over it and purchase.  Not much of being a denim enthusiast but I guess I’m back to loving pants again these days. Aside from the jean rambling thoughts I have, I spent my days fixating with Olive (or gff as we term each other that way J) on where to go next, you know that sudden urge of exploring another city anticipating on beautiful sights to capture. I literally have no idea, do you?

FEEDING MY IMAGINATION

 photo Animation1_zps46bb8ba1.gif
Wearing Forever 21 blouse, Vintage denim shorts from Bangkok, Cloyd Heels, Louis Vuitton Bag.

These elephants have been hidden for quite some time in my hard drive. Days were kind of busy since I've arrived from my trip recently in Hong Kong. As I arranged my files I came across these huge and cute (how ironic to describe) elephants that which I just have to post next. These elephants were acting like babies waiting to be fed by tourists, definitely they enjoy that much attention.

The photos reminded me of how much time I was on the car patiently waiting to arrive at Samphran Elephant Ground and Zoo. When I was a kid I usually see elephants on television but the beauty of travelling to different places makes imagination seem reality instead of thinking it all inside your head, it is actually real and you could see what they are.

THAILAND PHOTO DIARY

Walking around Bangkok during my Thailand trip last year was just freakishly awesome. I don't know why my Thailand diary was up first to post this week but maybe I am kind of missing the elephants and Baskin Robbins.  I can't described how child-like my happiness was seeing elephants and getting to ride on them. Moreover feeding an elephant which would be my next post. Wearing the almost comfiest outfit I got in my suitcase which was a georgette silk polo blouse and a vintage short which I bought in Bangkok such a smart decision since the weather was pretty humid during that time. Getting lost in the city, being thought of as a Thai, watching elephants do breakdance and elephants playing football were just crazy but all in all a surreal experience. You shouldn't miss riding the fast and whirlwind boat ride in the floating market, not much of the scenery but more of the feeling of air in the skin and flipping of hair.
